Something Trevor is really good at.

Trevor had a creative writing assignment that he had to do in class last week. The topic was "Something that I'm really good at." Here is his essay:

Something I'm really good at is being myself. I love being me. Being myself is the best, for me, of course.

I love being me. I'm in a great family. It's hard having family over all the time, but you can live with it. Hey, I been living with this, so you can.

His teacher's comment: "Trevor, you make me laugh. You are very good at being you."

No one can ever accuse him of self-esteem issues!

Disneyland Fun!

Here are some pictures from our most recent trip to Disneyland. It was great weather and the crowds were few. It was a nice few days away. We like taking our mini vacations and getting away from it all!

Tami's Early Birthday Present.

We are at Disneyland right now. We got an e-mail about new Disney and Dooney & Burke purses. So we while we were here, we thought we would check it out. Everyone knows that Disney and Dooney's are two of Tami's favorite things. So, Happy Early Birthday to Tami. Here are the pictures.

End of Basketball Season!

Trevor had his last Basketball Game today. Bittersweet that it was the only game that they lost for the season. He really has a great time playing and has the war wounds to prove it!

Busy Week!

This has been a very busy week. It started out on Sunday when I flew up to Salt Lake City for a training class on Monday. Monday morning we woke up to a couple of inches of snow on the ground. On our way to the class, we slid our way through an intersection, hit a curb and blew the front tire on the rental car. I am just glad I was not driving! The class was great and we went to the airport to catch our flight home. After we got there, the flight was delayed over 2 hours. Needless to say we got home very late and it was a long day. The great part was the next day I started vacation. The one thing that I wanted to get done was to repaint our bedroom and bathroom. Thanks to Tami's Dad and sister Tedene, we got it done. We went a dark brown on one wall and a tan on the other walls. We really like the results. We also replaced the toilet in the bath. (Sad life when you get excited about a new toilet!)

On Thursday we had Pinewood Derby at Cub Scouts. Here is Trevor with his car, and some pictures from the race.

On Saturday, Trevor had another Basketball game. His team is undefeated so far. Trevor played a really good game and scored a basket.

And finally, throughout the week, I decided since I was on vacation I would not shave. So here is the end result that was shaved off on Sunday morning. There was just way way too much grey!

It was a really good week. We felt like we got alot done, even if the beard didn't work out!
